PMT Systems is part of General Sewing Data Ltd which is based in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire. GSD have been supplying detailed quantification data to the textile industry around the world for over 20 years.
	In 1999 GSD Ltd acquired three new data systems from the former UK MTM Association and created PMT Systems to administer and market these products. These systems were known as; PADS, MTM-X and MTM Core Data, and they represented three distinct levels of data application. It ranged from the detailed, two-handed analysis of activities through to the consideration of well-established and easily observed tasks.
	The three systems now form the basis of the PMT Systems portfolio covering both administrative and production environments.

	The areas of application shown above are only intended as a guide and none of the systems are specifically restricted to any single environment. The original systems names are still retained by GSD for use as and when appropriate.

	General Sewing Data Ltd only acquired the rights to PADS, MTM-X and MTM Core Data. All other MTM systems referred to within this site (MTM-1, MTM-2 or MTM-3) remain the property of, and under the control of, the International MTM Directorate and all rights are herewith recognised.
